The included S26 ball head has an Arca-style quick release system for a super solid connection to your panel holder. To make setup and breakdown even easier, you can leave your panel holder connected to the tripod between sessions, swinging it down to lay along the tripod's closed legs, with the wingnuts nestling between the legs.
The hook at the end of the center column is perfect for hanging your backpack during a painting session -- keeping your gear off the ground, and stabilizing your easel with the extra weight.
